Advent 2009
Dear Friends of Saint Mary’s,
Stewardship is offering thanksgiving for the many blessings in our life. It is a commitment of our spirit, and our commitment to God. All that we have comes from our Lord, and we are called to return a portion to Him, in and with thanksgiving. Our commitment of time, talent, and treasure is a reflection of the gifts that we have, the gifts we can share. It is a testament of our faith in support of the church as it does the Lord’s work in this world.
Economically, this has been a difficult year for many. It has, likewise, been a challenging year for our church. Many of you have been generous with your giving and we thank you. We are respectfully and prayerfully asking you to be generous once again with your time, your talent and your annual financial giving. If you have not pledged in the past, please consider doing so as pledging allows us to feel a part of the church in a most meaningful way. Giving of your time, talent, and treasurer helps support the needs and outreach of our church.
In this season of Advent, as we prepare for the yearly remembrance of the birth of Christ, we give thanks to God for the many ways in which you are giving support to Saint Mary’s Church. May God bless you and may you always know the richness of His love.
